The Medicinewheel - 4 Elementals Elixirs to work with in Ceremony

4 ELEMENTALS:

This is a series of elixirs ultimatly to be used through out a year to gather knowledge of the nature of life which may be perceived through the observation of the rythms of Nature.

                                         As above so below. As within so without.

This can be seen and experienced  simultaneously on a microcosmical as well as on a macrocosmical level in the life of plants, people or animals for example as well as the cycle of the seasons or the cycle of life (birth, death, rebirth). "The Great Everything" or Universe and one's own personal space or personal universe is intertwined in a greater weave of life. Initiatic medicine is when the vital force that is inherent in Nature itself, and the personal power within oneself which can enable one to become more whole or complete , merging and living in an organic unity. Through the spagyric process in which the elixirs have been prepared, separated into the philosophical principles of salt, sulphur and mercury , the body, soul and spirit of the plants , worked on separately and then recombined again to facilate a spiritual evolution to takes place within the person ingesting the spagyric , recreating the consciously assisted evolutionary life cycle of the plants. A suggestion is to take the elixirs seasonally, at the moment the element´s expression is at it´s peak facing the direction.

The transformation the plants have gone through takes place within the person ingesting the elixir.

The elixirs can of course be taken just as one pleases as well when you feel the need for Freedom, Flow, Higher Flame or Groundedness. The titles and the keywords gives a key to what to be expected.

Ginkgo Biloba Spagyric Elixir

Making a new batch of Ginkgo Biloba spagyric tincture.
The leaves can be harvested in the summer months when they are green but are most medicinally potent in the fall season, just after they start to turn a yellow-gold color. According to Christopher Hobbs, in his book, "Ginkgo, Elixir of Youth", the best time to pick the leaves for highest concentration of flavonoid content is after the leaves turn yellow. The best time for highest ginkgolides and bilobalide content is in late summer just before the leaves begin to turn color.
I make alcohol tinctures of the leaves using them in both of these stages as the beginning of a spagyric tincture.

Ginkgo improves circulation, ameliorating the delivery of some nutrients that are needed; as well as, life giving oxygen to every cell including those of the brain. Ashwagandha Spagyric Elixir

I was calcinating Ashwagandha at the moment of full moon in Taurus , at sunrise. This is the first step in creating the mineral salt from the ashwagandha that has been macerating in alchohol for 40 days. Calcinating through fire and purified through water. Ashwagandha is a solar herb, lightening the inner sun.
It is one of my favorite herbs and I have seen it´s benefits in "burned-out" people. It works fast and it is truly a powerful and magical herb.

I also make a formula "Light in the Dark" that is good for "winterdepression" . Here I use Szechuan pepper as a driver and St Johns Wort and Skullcap in combination with Ashwagandha as a powerful combination. A merging of Chinese, Indian and Western herbalism.
