MANDARIN HYDROLAT OCH INRE SOL ELIXIR

I går destillerade jag hydrolat av mandarinskal i solens astrologiska timma och dag. Min familj kom med en resväska med mandariner från deras trädgård i sydfrankrike och firade jul hos oss.  Här är min pappa och min bror innan avresan till Sverige.
Man ser mandarinträdet i bakgrunden.

Mandarinhydrolat doftar och smakar MAGISKT, det är glädje, värme, citrus, fruktigt och komplext blommigt.
Det verkar sederande, hypnotiskt och avslappnande och kan användas för uppspelta barn eller vuxna, sömnlöshet och oro.  Ett tips är att ta 1-2 tsk i lite varmt vatten med honung som en sängfösare för både barn och vuxna.

Jag vill samtidigt berätta om ett elixir jag gjorde förra året med apelsinhydrolat som är mycket bra.
 

INRE SOL

Ett elixir att ta när det känns mörkt. Stärker den inre solen och skingrar melankoli. Verkar initierande och stödjer en i att hitta glädjen, inre drivkraft och motivation. Stärker solar plexus-chakrat.

Ska ej blandas med receptbelagda mediciner eller p-piller.

Spagyrisk tinktur av:

Johannesört, silverax, helig basilika (Tulsi), ringblomma och citronmeliss.

HYDROSOLS

 

Hydrosols are the distilled herbal waters in the process of steamdistillation of essential oils.

In alchemy the sulphur principle represents the initial light and the source of life, and it manifests in the essential oil, which is the soul of the plant. So hydrosols contain the soul of the plants and they operate on a high vibration and on the level of the soul.

Hydrosols can be used internally and externally for health, pleasure and beauty.

It is possible to order hydrosols from me.

I make a list with a few keywords.

Just specify which one you would like to order.

They all come in a 30 ml brown glass bottle with a spraypump.

All hydrosols should be diluted in water before taken internally.

5-12 months stability. Keep dark, cool, preferably refrigerated.

The herbs I distill are grown organically in my garden or by friends, or  in the wild.

They are harvested and distilled at astrologically optimal moments.

Lindenflower –honeylike aroma and scent, calm, harmony, veriditas

Good for memory, soothing to the soul, great to drink diluted if you have a fever, dreamwork.

Meadowsweet – honeylike aroma and scent, floral, almondy, like a feminine archetype of planet Mars Good for pain in the muscles, head and joints, good for ulcers, menstrual cramp.

Oregano – slightly sharp, aromatic, pungent with a hint of sweetness

Orange – the aroma and scent is like the soul of the orange , joyous, antidepressant.

Good to alter the atmosphere of a space to become  mildly euphoric and friendly.

Mugwort – do not smell very good but the taste is interesting, good for lucid dreaming, dreamwork, wild goddess archetype, good for tarotreadings and divination, intuition, full moon rituals.

Chamomile – heavenly, aromatic, calming, soothing to the soul and emotions, good for crying or teething babies to spray around them or put diluted in a bottle to drink, good for red itchy skin, antiinflammatory, acne, good for insomnia, stress, anxiety,as a makeup remover.

Lemonthyme – heavenly aroma and scent, uplifting, green

Good to spray on the temples if there is too much mental activity, good to spray on acne and taken internally  for that and also in candida overgrowth.

Yarrow – smells like a wet sock but the effect is incredible to spray on tattoos to heal, scrapes, bites, wounds, very good for hemorrhoids, spritually healing.

Sacred Basil (Tulsi ) – divine scent, happy, blissful

good to boost immunity, to lift the spirit, create sacred space, good for stress, tension , fear, worry and anxiety.

Lemonbalm – slightly pungent

Uplifting, calming, happy, the holy child, opening the heart, good to put undiluted on herpes to heal fast.

Lilac – Like a portal to the faeryrealm, magic, glamour, intuition, the mystery, fearyvision, initiation, very good in a mojito.

Cherryblossom – hypnotic, sweet, magical, glamour

Calming, heavy, sedative. Described by a threeyearold as : “Glamour...rainbow...glamour”

Good when there is fear of the unknown.

Wild rose – smells like a real rose which can be dissapointing to those who are accustomed to fake rose. This is less strong, subtle, mild, soothing, heavenly

Cleansing, astringent, rejuvinating  for the skin as a spritz, good for the emotional heart, love, good for PMS, menopause, melancholy. Magical diluted in a glass of champagne.

Bay Laurel – warm, magical, higher intelligence, good for rituals, oracle, divination, energywork, high vibration, see through the veil.

Angelica seed -  divine smell and taste, high vibration, crownchakra, angelic, magic, ritual work, cleansing a space, calling the guardian angel, channel, casting a circle, untie karmic knots.

Wormwood – beautiful masculine scent

As a body mist, do not take internally unless very diluted if you have parasites or malaria.

Calamusroot – divine, holy , aromatic, pungent, high vibration, expression, good for the throat diluted, to sing, for writing, speaking, anointing, magic.

Goldenrod – fresh, green, very tasty

Disolves old anger, cleans emotionally, good for kidneys and liver as a detox, good for allergy. Drink diluted as a springcleaning. Strengthens the heart and solarplexus.

Fieweed – the smell is not so good, but it is very good in case of candida, to heal the gut, after a trauma to rise like a phoenix from the ashes, healing, seeing the core , the truth, the heart and the essential.

Lavender -  floral and sweet with notes of honey and deeper basenotes.

Soothing for all skintypes, sunburn, headache, heavy legs, calming and uplifting at the same time, good for winding down in the evening.

Peppermint – spicy, cooling , refreshing

Peppermint supports digestion, is anti-inflammatory and stimulates the mind. Good for concentration, PMS, musclepain.

Geranium -  floral and uplifting scent, simply put : Beaautiful

Hydrating , acts as a cellular regenerative, good for red skin, rosacea, broken capillaires.

Rosemary - A green, sweet and spicy scent.

Rosemary is a powerful antioxidant. It stimulates the liver and gallbladder, promoting production of bile and aiding digestion. It is good for memory and dreamrecall. Good to sparay around you when studying. Rosemary makes the hair thick and shining.

Sage- pure, fragrant, herbaceous and uplifting aroma

It can be used for a sore throat diluted in warm water or sprayed in the throat. When Sage hydrosol is applied at the onset of swollen lymph nodes, it can help reduce the swelling. Sage hydrosol can be used to purify a space, persons or objects instead of burning insence..

Thyme – flowery and sweet scent

Acnetreatment, fungal infection and candida, flu and cold . spray in the room and dilute one teaspoon in a little warm water, very tasty in cooking

WORKSHOP 2017

INTRODUKTION TILL DEN SPAGYRISKA KONSTEN

WORKSHOP i Örtalkemi med Lisa Jeannin

Denna workshop äger rum under 2 helger , varav den ena i juni och den andra i augusti 2017.

Man kan inte gå endast en av modulerna.

Det kommer att vara intensiva moduler då du kommer att få nycklar som öppnar upp dörren till naturens och alkemins hemligheter och som en bieffekt ger ökad självkännedom och kontakt med naturen. Det kommer att bli maxat!
Vi kommer att arbeta med 7 planeter – 7 växter och hur de återspeglas innom oss.
Vi kommer att upptäcka mönster och hur vi är en del av samspelet mellan ovan och nedan. Att kosmos, växterna och människan ingår i ett enda kretslopp.
Naturens intelligens och livskraft står i centrum i denna lära.


Första helgen äger rum den 9-11 juni och då påbörjas skapandet av 7 planetariska elixir med arbete ute i vår vackra natur där vi möter växterna , arbetar i det inre och yttre laboratoriet genom att frigöra och separera växternas själ och ande. Vi destillerar eterisk olja och hydrolat . Undervisning i alkemisk teori och praktik.

Andra helgen äger rum den 25-27 augusti och då fortsätter arbetet med de 7 planetariska elixiren. Vi arbetar i det inre och yttre laboratoriet med att separera och extrahera växternas mineralmatris, deras kroppar , via calcinering genom eld och vatten. Slutligen sammanförs kropp, ande och själ i fullbordan av våra elixir som kommer att verka initiatoriskt på ens egen kropp, ande och själ. Undervisning i alkemisk teori och praktik.

Mellan modulerna kommer vi att kunna ha kontakt via en hemlig grupp på facebook där man kan dela erfarenheter och tankar.

7 deltagare kan bo i naturskön miljö i Fålarp med cykelavstånd till Hakebo. Cyklar finns att låna. Det är fyra små gulliga hus i en glänta mitt i skogen. Alchemillas Apotek ligger ca 5 km från boendet och där kommer vi att arbeta i laboratoriet.
Det finns 2 enkelrum så först till kvarn som vill bo i dem…

Det kommer att serveras ekologisk vegetarisk mat med örterna vi kommer att lära känna, vilda växter , egenodlade grönsaker och alkemiskt tema.

Introduktion till den spagyriska konsten

Om teori eller filosofi är ett sätt att förstå världen på, så kan praktik beskrivas som ett sätt att vara i världen på. Den spagyriska konsten är ett sätt att praktisera alkemins filosofi, genom att skapa örtextrakt som påverkar både kroppen, anden och själen.

Ordet spagyria bildades av den schweiziska alkemisten Paracelsus på 1400-talet. Det är en sammansättning av de grekiska orden "spao", att separera, och "ageiro", att sammanföra.

“There is in each person, in every animal, bird and plant a star which mirrors, matches or is in some sense the same as a star in the heavens.”

Citatet från Paracelsus beskriver en nyckelinsikt i den spagyriska konsten: när växten skördas, skördas samtidigt dess kosmiska motsvarighet. För att detta ska uppnås, krävs att spagyrikern arbetar i samklang med både naturens cykler och himlakropparnas rörelser.

I den spagyriska processen separeras växten enligt sin egen unika arkitektoniska sammansättning av elementens, principernas och planeternas energier.

Så som ovan så och nedan.

För att växten ska uppnå en mer raffinerad form, transformeras den i olika processer genom liv, död och pånyttfödelse. Först separeras växtens delar, så att man ska kunna arbeta med var och en av dem. Slutligen sammanförs delarna till en enhet i form av en spagyrisk tinktur, som också kallas elixir.

I den alkemiska filosofin manifesteras tretalet i allt levande. Både människor, djur och växter har kropp, ande och själ, som representeras av salt, merkur och svavel.

Svavelprincipen, som representerar ljuset och livets källa, yttrar sig i den eteriska oljan, som är är växtens själ. Eteriska oljor är helt individuella, det finns inte två som liknar varandra.

I växten är merkurprincipen översatt till alkoholinnehållet, växtens ande. Merkurprincipen ger liv åt allt som lever – och förenar därmed allt levande.

Saltet representerar växtens kropp – det är växtens kristalliserade mineralsalt.
Saltet kan liknas vid farkosten som själen och anden färdas i.

Så som ovan så och nedan.

Den spagyriska processen går till så här:

Det första grundläggande steget är separationen av växtens delar. Den inleds genom att tinkturen pressas ur växterna som legat i sitt menstrum, det vill säga alkoholen. Därefter calcineras växterna. Det innebär att växtdelarna bränns ner till en helt vit aska, som sedan renas ytterligare i hydrolatet – det destillerade vattnet som blir till när man destillerar växtens eteriska olja. Under dessa separerande processer skapas kristaller som innehåller växtens hela mineralmatris.

Det andra grundläggande steget är enandet av delarna. Här återförenas kristallerna, växtens saltprincip, med alkoholen, merkurprincipen, och den eteriska oljan, svavelprincipen.

Detta är grunden till den spagyriska konsten. Nyckeln är separationen och återföreningen av växtens delar. Häri ligger den grundläggande skillnaden mellan en spagyrisk tinktur och en vanlig tinktur – och orsaken till att så små doser av en spagyrisk tinktur kan ha så stor verkan.

När vi får en glimt av växterna utifrån det alkemiska perspektivet, ser vi samtidigt hur de universella krafterna är i lekfull rörelse inom både oss själva och växterna. Vi börjar ana de stora sambanden mellan himmel och jord, mellan himlakropparna och allt som lever här på jorden.

Skullcap makes you feel like you have a helmet on your head that calms and protects you.

Salt: A supreme nerve remedy with great sedative powers.

Salt: Hyssop is a fever remedy , indicated in  “slow fever”  where nerves are affected so reactions and movements are slow, numb and weak. It is deeply penetrating, opening pores and passageways deep inside the body, as well as the skin, releasing heat through the skin. It acts cooling, lubricating, cleansing fluids, removing heat and congestion.

Mold growing on the leaves of hyssop produces penicillin.

Mercury: David Dalton developped a profile for the mental state associated with hyssop that may owe something to the biblical concept. He recomends it for people who feel guilty, feel undeserving of happiness, fear punishment , fear pleasure and engage in self-sabotage.

Sulphur: Herbalist Juliette de Bairacli Levy recomends hyssop as a highly effective remedial agent in all forms of poisoning. Foxes are said to seek out this plant when poisoned.

If you feel you may be carrying some ancestral programming or karmic patterns, hyssop may bring clarity and clear this kind of metaphorically poisoning of the soul.

Salt:  Lindenflower is cooling internal heat, warm skin, fever. It is good for restlessness, hyperactivity and panic attacks.

It is supporting the respiratory system, good to take for influenza and to expell mucus in the lungs.

Mercury: Linden is soothing to the nerves, comforting to the heart and good for lucid dream work. It is good for anxiety that is felt in the heart, insomnia and stress. It has a sedative effect.

Sulphur: Marcel Proust was the first person to coin the term involuntary memory, in his novel À la Recherche du Temps Perdu (In Search of Lost Time).

Proust viewed involuntary memory as containing the "essence of the past", claiming that it was lacking from voluntary memory. In his novel, he describes an incident where he was eating lindentea soaked cake, and a childhood memory of eating lindentea soaked cake with his aunt was "revealed" to him.From this memory, he then proceeded to be reminded of the childhood home he was in, and even the town itself. This becomes a theme throughout In Search of Lost Time, with sensations reminding Proust of previous experiences. He dubbed these "involuntary memories."

Solidago comes from the Latin word solidus, which means: “whole” as in “to make one whole” or to bind or bring together.

Salt:Goldenrod supports the kidneys, is good for a cold stomach and  low metabolism. It is a warming, bitter and pungent remedy that is stimulating and increases digestion.

Goldenrod can be helpful in allergies, especially cat allergy with red watery itchy eyes, and itchy nose. It may also be helpful at the first stage of an urineinfection.

Mercury: For worn out people with tired and heavy feet. “Where is the nearest chair?” . Indicated for people who are to worn out to process life. Maria Treben relates how the kidneys help us to work out our emotions and if they become exhausted they slow down, the back and feet are tired and the urinary output is altered.

Sulphur: Goldenrod is a powerful internal cleaner and it is especially good to do a cure at the equinoxes, as the seasons change. Goldenrod connects you to your higher self (makes one whole). Initially emotions may be relaeased as they are cleaned out from under metaphorical carpets, but do not fear,  a stronger connection to your higher self creates enthusiasm, abundance and a more cooperative feeling in the long run. These initial feelings are the reliving of emotions and will pass as those emotions are released from the cleaning. This process can also affect one’s dreams initially.

When life gives you lemon verbena, make Chartreuse.

An alchemical recipe reached the religious order's headquarters at the Grande Chartreuse monastery, in Voiron, near Grenoble. It has since then been used to produce the "Elixir Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse”. Only two monks at a lifetime know the secret ingredients. Lemon verbena is one of them.

Salt: Antioxidant and strengthening for the immunesystem. Lemon Verbena reduces inflammation and fevers and may be beneficial for joint-pain, menstrual pain. Lemon verbena supports the digestive and respiratory systems.

It helps to regulate apetite.

Mercury: Lemon verbena stimulates the endocrine system, is reducing stress and nervous tension. It is uplifting and moves the spirit when one feels mentally stuck and calms down at the same time. It is nice to take in the early evening to wind down.

Salt: Syringa means tube in latin and the signature is the spine, our inner tube filled with cerebrospinal fluid. The branches of lilac are hollowed and may be used for pipes or flutes.

Mercury: Another signature to the spine is it´s lilac colored flowers that correspond to the crownchakra, at the top of the spine. Lilac helps to align one´s spirit with ones spine.

Ida and Pingala are the enrgy channels that flow around the spine according to Tantra and Kundaliniyoga. Lilac stimulates the flow of these channels in solving blockages that prevent us to evolve.  Lilac has to do with flexibility, releasing and no longer holding back on our development.

Sulphur: Lilac may be used to straighten and unblock not only the spine, the head and the energy that circulates through them, but also to align one´s spirit and nourish it . It may ease grief, oppression and fright that comes from long ago, perhaps from childhood. A feeling of dis-ease, lack of safety, or a sense of holding back the true self often shows up as rigidity or pain in the spine. The Lilac corresponding behavior pattern is that of someone who is constantly scanning the surroundings in case of danger. In Greek mythology Syringa was a nymph that turned herself into a Lilacbush when Pan frightened her.

Salt: Violets are suited when mucosal membranes are dry, for dry caugh, and indicated in lymphatic stagnation. Violets works as a dissolver and may ease constipation.

Mercury: Violets are soothing to the restless and calming to the nerves. Reduces excessive and unwanted thoughts.

Sulphur: Full of fragrance when you meet them up close, they are easy to miss when walking by. Likewise people who need violet have many gifts that are often overlooked by others. Sensitive and highly perceptive, they hold back from contact with others for fear of being unrecognized or misunderstood.
